Basket includes one bottle of each of the following: 2014 Produttori Barbaresco: The wine has a bright and lifted perfume, with cherry and herbal notes dominating. On the palate, this wine delivers plenty of beautiful length and endurance, offering crisp tones of cherry fruit with licorice, wet earth and floral notes. 2014 Produttori Montestefano: The 2014 Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano is superb. The nose offers round and supple fruit with dark cherry, blackberry and spicy herbal notes. The palate reflects the nose, with balance and structure that will allow it to age gracefully for years to come. 2014 Produttori Ovello: The 2014 Barbaresco Riserva Ovello is also superb, in a less powerful, but more refined way. The bouquet is redolent of bright berry fruit with cherry, blackberry and plum. The palate is broad and polished and ready to drink. 2021 Walter Scott Cuvee Anne Chardonnay, Willamette Valley: The 2021 Chardonnay Cuvée Anne has an expressive bouquet of minerals, apple and flowers. The palate is electric and flinty, with deep fruit notes and a long, shimmery finish. A terrific food wine that should drink well for years. 2021 Tan Fruit Cuvee Tan Fruit Chardonnay, Willamette Valley: This impressive Chardonnay a core of peachy fruit, flowers, and smokey notes on the nose. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied, seamless and satiny with flavors that reflect the bouquet. Another wine that should age well for another 5 years. 2022 Patrick Piuze Chablis Terroir Decouverte: The 2022 Chablis Terroir Découverte, sees no new oak and offers up aromas of honeyed peaches and white flowers, followed by full-bodied, lifted palate that finishes with a bright saline finish. This will be great with oysters and fish.
