Trish Dunn, aunt of founder Jennifer Cox, has never missed a gala, or any other event related to Empower4Life. She and her family have been one of our biggest supporters and cheerleaders going back to 2015.
Aunt Trish was diagnosed with ALS in the spring of 2025 and missed last year’s gala for the first time, but she proudly watched the program from home.
Aunt Trish passed on June 2, 2026, and our family lost the brightest light, the most supportive and loving family member, the most humble human in all of Perry Hall, and truly the greatest friend.
To celebrate and honor her beautiful spirit, most contagious smile, and giving heart, we encourage others to always remember to laugh, love, and sit on the beach! Aunt Trish thrived the most when she was bringing people together to celebrate and enjoy laughs. Her most favorite place to be was at her home in OCMD.
We hope you will take a group of friends or family and create memories, maybe even get a bunch of carry out and go sit on the beach to enjoy it during our most favorite hour, golden hour.
